Job Description:

* Design Control Activities

* Perform Circuit Design using AutoCAD/ Micro Station

* Set up Test Fixtures

* Create EPROMs

* Assist in the Test and Cut-Over of Signal Systems as required

* Travel to Customer Field Locations to Support Project Requirements as required

Desired Profile:

* BE (Electrical/Electronics/ Instrumentation engineering)

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Ability to establish and maintain good customer relations

* ASE must be results/goal oriented

* The ASE must possess excellent communications skills in order to effectively interface with signal engineers, customers and senior management.

* Additionally they should have Proficiency in use of AutoCAD, Micro Station, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook & excellent organizational skills.

* Ability and willingness to travel abroad and within India for providing on-site support and interfacing with customers (50% travel required)

Job Description:

* As a data scientist in the Modeling and Optimization lab, you will work on projects to invent and deliver predictive modeling and decision technologies for diverse GE businesses such as GE Aviation, GE Transportation and GE Healthcare. 

* You will deliver statistical models, applications and solutions on data science programs for these businesses

Desired Profile:

* We are looking for entry level data scientists with demonstrated ability to apply data science technologies to solve applied problems. 

* Candidates should hold an MTech or MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Applied Statistics, Electrical Engineering , Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines with an excellent academic record and practical experience with recent advances in mathematical & computational sciences and statistical modeling. 

* The candidate should have a demonstrated strong foundation in probability, statistical theory with a deep understanding of statistical estimation, hypothesis testing, linear and logistic regression. 

* A solid grounding in applied statistics including expertise in at least one of the following is a must: Reliability models, Bayesian modeling, statistical classification, cluster analysis, time series analysis, forecasting and multivariate statistics. 

* Possessing strong Implementation and Programming Skills in one or more of Java, Python, SAS, R, Python, Matlab is a must. Prior experience working with very large datasets using Big Data tools and platforms (Hadoop, PIG/HIVE/Mahout) is highly desirable. 

* Proven ability to lead projects and willingness to learn new domains and work in multi-disciplinary global teams
