JAMMU & KASHMIR STATISTICAL CUM EVALUATION SERVICE COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION, 2013 FOR APPOINTMENT TO THE POSTS OF ASSISTANT DIRECTOR (STATISTICS)
Applications are invited from permanent resident of the State for the J&K Statistical cum Evaluation Service Competitive Examination, 2013 for direct recruitment posts of Assistant Director (Statistics) in the pay scale of 9300-34800 + Grade Pay 4800 in accordance with SRO 207 dated 04.09.1992 as amended from time to time, read with J&K Statistical cum Evaluation (Competitive Examination) Regulations issued vide Govt. Order No.299-PD of 1976 dated 04.12.1976 as amended vide Govt. Order No.2-PD of 2009 dated 13.01.2009 and the J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examination) Rules, 2005.

Eligibility Conditions:

A candidate
a. must be a permanent resident of the J&K State; and
b. must hold a Master’s Degree in Economics or Statistics or Commerce or Mathematics or M.Sc. of Indian Statistical Institute or Master of Computer Applications Degree from any recognised University/Institute.
Age limit as on 01.01.2013 :   18 – 37 years
